Put your money where your mouth is

Last night at dinnertime Lewis announced that he wanted to cook dinner this evening all by himself - it always raises an eyebrow, but who could deny such enthusiasm?

So Mum took him shopping at lunchtime, and this afternoon he prepared and executed Sunday dinner. Only the very slightest modifications were made, and delicious it was too.

Lewis should be congratulated on his choice of New Forest potatoes, and Hampshire watercress all contributing to a low cost low food miles dinner. The pie was very tasty and outstanding in appearance.

Pudding was equally delicious - a chocolate and orange sponge with cinnamon custard. All home made by his nibs. Well done Tiger!
