well shes trying to sit up already.... i was doing a few grown up looking pictures, when miranda decided she was making a bid for freedom! she is very vocal at present, and as i write this, she is busy gnawing on her fist.....
Today it was time for a snip at the Brown Clan HQ... Greg was not totally excited about this as he does not like to sit still for very long. Never the less, mission was accomplished and our hair is now shorter (and in the compost bin!) As the clocks went forward last night, we have more evening light to adjust to. It's the boys teatime but it feels like the afternoon still???
Greg getting dressed up again this time as an astronaut, his mask made it tricky to get the shot and the pic that works best is a portrait. The green air bottles are just visible. His chain mail jumper is an astronauts jacket today he tells me!
Nothing more tempting to a seven year old than an opportunity to make things happen... In this case birds moving to safety - somewhere other than near Lewis! I had been admiring the birds seconds earlier and in marched Lewis, determined to make waves!
Miranda says she's under represented on the brown blog, so as I am away tomorrow here's one for her. Working out at Brown's Gym, she's trying to turn those pounds of blubber into muscle, so she can get on her mountain bike and chase Daddy and Lewis (and very nearly Gregory)!
Greg getting ready to go to school for his Easter Bunny funtime! He was in a bit of a hurry, and the karma was disappearing so this is the best we were going to get!
Portraits against the beach huts was tonight's theme, and Lewis was the obliging subject. Greg was too busy playing hide and seek all by himself. Very blowy so Lewis' hair made for a moving target!
I shot about 60 portraits against different backgrounds flaky paint, weather board, flat and textured - all very different! I like the blue with the blonde hair and red jacket.
Cant believe this was only two weeks ago, so I thought I'd better load this before winter seems like a distant memory! This was taken close to sunset after the boys came home from school and we went for a quick walk up the lane, to look for snow to build a snowman. Needless to say it was a bit thin on the ground!
Miranda on Monday 13th wearing Catimimi I do believe! Designerwear from France via Holmes Chapel! She's been looking quite perky today, exercising in the babygym.
Nearly didn't go down to the beach tonight as it was very cold and bleak looking! But we did and it was a glorious sunset at Lepe. The wind it was howling, and there was hardly a soul there. We watched the birds, tossed a few stones and lamented the loss of our beloved "lighthouse" which has gone into the sea!
Friday night release! Down to the beach, and we're off on the space rocket! Lewis is stoking the engine - Greg is the pilot. I bet you can't stand on the top Daddy.
Loaded this on Flickr, and instantly 4 people had looked at it and one had commented by the time I had written the words!
Miranda aged 14 weeks, now looking more like a dumpling by the day. Who'd have thought that 12 weeks ago things were looking bleak. Lunch last weekend in Boldre Churchyard with the snowdrops made me a little reflective - here today ....
just one day old, and imortalised with the aid of a 20"x16" sheet of Record Rapid. All you need is a flash gun, photo paper and a baby, oooh dont forget the chemicals...!
