After lunch today we were all slouching on the setees, enjoying an idle hour or so, when Lewis announced he was bored. Since we were perfectly happy we told him to go and use his imagination and do something useful... And blow me if he doesn't start baking a cake, the result of which is here, just before going in the oven, with very minimal assistance from 'er indoors!
The finished cake would be worthy of sleek Soho patisserie, both appearance and taste are fantastic. What a champion.
