Some photos just have a buzz, and this one definitely has it for me. The fraction of a second that the action lasts for relies on razor sharp reflexes; if you can't focus that lens, then you'll have missed the shot. That's what I love about photography, it's the capturing the elusive moment.
Of course I could use autofocus lenses but the pictures simply don't look the same.
