Story time and they are locked in with another tale at bedtime. Greg has been reading another one of his Michael Morpurgo books, and I've also read one of the boxed set that Gran gave him for Christmas - what a great writer he is. I read the 'Wreck of the Zanzibar' which painted a similarly bleak view of Island life (Bryher on the Scilies) to Adam Nicolson's 'Sea Room' which I read last year (about the desertion of the Shiant Isles in the Hebrides), although I'm in awe of the way Morpurgo makes it so accessible, and yet so vivid.
